🖤 De Zwarte Schuur is a spacious and stylish guest house of approximately 70 m², located on the dike overlooking the open river landscape and Werk aan het Spoel. Inside, modern simplicity and classic warmth come together: light wooden beams and a sleek kitchen form a nice contrast with antique paintings and a centuries-old truss, soft tones and a cosy wood stove. The living room has a spacious seating area and dining area, and the kitchen is fully equipped with oven, induction hob, freezer, fridge, coffee maker and kettle. There is a master bedroom with a luxurious box spring, a bedroom with two single beds, and two more comfortable beds on the loft. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, washing machine and sink; the toilet is separate. Outside you will find a private terrace and garden with seating in the sun, overlooking the dike, the yard and the green fields along the Lek. A wonderful place for those who love tranquillity, space and a touch of rural luxury – suitable for up to six people, such as a family, a group of friends or two friendly couples with children.

By bike across the dike from or to the city towards Werk aan het Spoel; the yard with the white farm is right next to it.

By train from Culemborg station: taxi, bus 146 (stop Focus '07, follow Schootsveldpad), station bike or foot. We recommend booking the taxi in time: +31619501139.

By car A2, exit Everdingen to Culemborg over the Diefdijk to the Goilberdingerdijk at Fort Everdingen, turn right until No. 41.
